Ad Sizes

This is what’s referred to as a “UAP” – “Universal Ad Package”.

It is the most common four sizes.

  • 300 x 250 – (Medium Rectangle)

  • 180 x 150 – (Rectangle)

  • 160 x 600 – (Wide Skyscraper)

  • 728 x 90 – (Leaderboard)

It’s not part of the UAP, but facebook ads are 110 x 80 and commonly requested.

Additional sizes are available by special order.

Note that display media presents unique profit opportunities, and some challenges. First, there’s a lot less competition in display ads, simply because the advertiser has to build “the creative” (industry-speak for the actual ad version i.e. actual banner ad, of which there are often multiple versions for A/B testing). Second, because it’s display media, there’s an opportunity for long-term branding.

We can produce your creative in flash, animated gif, or static image. You need to tell us in advance what format is allowed, many places (including facebook) do not allow animated gifs or flash, also, flash won’t render on many mobile devices.
