CSV Import

FEB 2021 UPDATE: If you have CSV data you need to get into the system, contact us. We are refining the CSV importer.

NOTE: The CSV you import must have a header row at this time, or it will not work. As of now, it’s temporarily limited to name phone email on the public-facing live CSV Importer.

SwiftCloud has 4 ways to get spreadsheet data into the system, which are…

  • CSV Importer. This is the most powerful and recommended way
  • Upload (by you). If you upload a CSV, TSV (Tab Separated Values) .xls (Microsoft Excel) or the newer .xlsx, our system will save the original and also convert to our native spreadsheet
  • Upload (by someone else, via front-end docs). If you have a doc or file-uploader that others use, and we see it’s one of the formats above, we’ll make it work as a spreadsheet automatically.
  • Create one manually, then copy and paste data into it, or hand-add rows.

In this article we’ll cover the CSV Importer.
